It seems Francis-Xavier Guyette originated in Iowa. His mother was Julia Brophy; he married Grace Whitwell and had 4 children, Mary Julia, Francis Xavier, Jeanne and George Edward.
He worked for Thompson's restaurants and was transferred to Chicago.
Seems the family helped to found Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
They were from Lourdes, Howard Cty., Iowa
ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING?
