Looks like they're in the Monona County (Lake Twp), Iowa census of 1880 and 1885. Father Joseph (1832-1905), mother Margaret Fegenbush (1840-1918). Both parents buried in the Sloan, Iowa, cemetery (Woodbury County).. Sloan is very near Monona County. Frederick not with family in census of 1900. Joseph Civil War veteran. 9 children listed in 1885 Iowa census.
