Possibly i'm getting too exited about the end outcome, but I thought that's what I read.
From my Dads recolection,he told us that my Grandfather came over here at 16,that would have been 1890,stayed for awhile then went back to Denmark and returned2 years later at 18 on the ship Hekla on Oct 22,1892 I've since found out that he went to Nebraska then fought in the Spanish-American War from 1898 to 1902,but here's what gets confusing. He married my Grandmother on 2 Sept. 1901.Then worked as a farrier then at the Denver-Rio Grand Railroad and finally at a brickyard, this was all in Salt Lake City,Utah.
I've found info on Christian that states he had a son named Svend Aage Kristensen that was living with my Great-Grandparents in the 1916 census in Denmark. Hope this helps......Thanks again.......Danny
