Gosh, fun that you shared that message. Love having the update. Sometimes there's some truth in these fragments of family lore.

The line about the drifter's grave...That's pretty much what I meant earlier when I mentioned he could have been buried by "non-family" who didn't note correct date of birth etc on his death record. I'm glad that, for the DAR application, you only need his DOB.

Found some contact information on Google for Paul and his children and grandchildren. Don't want to post about living people, but you can find same info, or I could email to you. They might possibly know more about Jessie, since Paul's half-brother was son to Jessie.

No chance to work on this today. Hope you are having a fun weekend.
