1880 Census
I. H. Davidson       26
Sarah E. Davidson       25
John Davidson       2

Tennessee State Marriages, 1780-2002 about John Davidson
Name:       John Davidson
Spouse:       Ann Smith
Marriage Date:       21 Nov 1897
Marriage county:       Benton

I do not have a single census yet that shows John and Ann. Still looking. One of the reasons I posted -- I was hoping someone might have even a tidbit of info that might help ancestry give me some "hints". Will be glad to keep you posted and let you know if anything pops up.

and then I have Isaac's obit:
Tennessee Republican. (3 Jan 1941). p 8. obituary. "Funeral services were held December 28, 1940 for Isaac Henderson Davidson of Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was a native of Benton County and was born February 15, 1859 and died December 28 at 2 o'clock in the morning He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of near Huntingdon. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Davidson; five sons and a daughter, Huston Davidson of Pickett, Arkansas; Mrs. Lula McCord of Martin, Tennessee; Carlie Davidson and Henry Davidson of Huntingdon; Melton Davidson of Milan; Arace Davidson of Steele, Missouri; and by a former wife, a son, John Davidson of Blytheville, Arkansas. He has thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He leaves other than his family and relatives a host of friends. All his children were present when he died. He made his home with Henry Davidson of Huntingdon.

and I have a notation in Isaac's and Mary's family bible. I'd be glad to email you photos of the pages if you would like to send me your email address. My email is laurawheeler@epbfi.com.

Thank you so much.
Laura
