The Cerro Gordo County Historical Society surely has photos of the business that was called the Park Hotel in 1900 (presumably the same business in an earlier building). To contact the Cerro Gordo County Historical Society:

Mason City is very proud of its history so I would guess your changes are good of tracking down someone in that area who will help you (if no one online turns up the photo).
