Seeking information about Doris Marie Daley's parents. Doris b. 6 Feb 1886 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co. Iowa, d/o Thomas H.Daley b.June 1851 OH or PA and Marie E.(aka Mary E.)(maiden name not yet known)b. 1856 IA (either Henry or Mahaska Co).
Other children from this union include:
Gertrude (Gerthy) 1877 in Monroe Co
Annie 1875 in Monroe Co
Paul 1876 in Monroe Co
Clide 1880 in Monroe Co
John 1882 in Monroe Co
Mearl 1885 in Mahaska Co
By 1900 the family included only Thomas, Marie, and 2 daughters, Gerthy and Doris. They had left Iowa and migrated to Pennington Co, South Dakota where he was a stock raiser. In 1910 Mary E Daly is divorced and living in Stanley Co. SD with her daughter Doris. I cannot find Thomas Daley in a 1910 Census.
Doris Marie Daley married James Lewis O'Connell on 14 Jan 1914 in South Dakota. Their marriage certificate shows them both as residents of Stanley Co., his PO is Ash Creek, hers is Milesville. Doris Marie Daley O'Connell died 4 Sept 1949 and is buried in Rapid City SD.
Any information about Doris' parents Thomas H. and Marie E. (aka Mary E.) Daley would be appreciated.
