Hi Dick. I just got your email which included a copy of the census for 1850. I wrote you an email directly, having secured your email address, and told you how grateful and happy I was for your email and the blessing it was to me.
Then I noticed an email from you through the Iowa Gen Forum and I wanted to post this one to you in order to let you know that I didn't feel like I had to apologize for my earlier--I wanted to because I felt that I had caused you to go out of your way to help me. I sure wasn't trying to get you to apologize for offending me. You didn't! Gosh, I sure didn't mean to imply that you needed to apologize for doing a good deed. Sorry about that. My wonderful wife says that my train of thought is not always what my words reflect, and I suppose she must be right. I consider you as a friend even though I have never met you, so lets start this all over again! I have nothing but good things to say about you and I was really saying that I have no problem with my email being spread all over, because I enjoy hearing from good folks like you. It was just too early for me, and I guess some of my brain cells must have been playing tricks on me! Thanks again! I am glad that I have had an opportunity to email you. Take care. Paul
