Death of Eldest Murray Son as WWI Ends

Seeking any information on the untimely death of Earl David Murray, father of a large family. Earl lived in Monona and Woodbury Counties in the early 1900s and is found in F. Cen. of 1910 with his wife and children and in the 1880 F. Cen. with his parents as well as the Iowa State Censuses. He left in 1912 for Royal, Antelope Co., Nebraska and only lived 6-7 more years. He seems to have died about the time his last child was born; Marian E. Murray was only a year and two months for the 1920 F. Cen. I have found no record of his death but his sister wrote that he died in 1919 and no one has argued the point. Earl is one of a dozen children of James David Murray and wife Lydia Hannah Metcalf. He was born 13 Oct 1879, although his draft card reads 1878. There was another (first) child gestating and being born dead that year. His wife, Ada Burks, is buried at Royal and had an obituary but I find nothing for Earl except an unmarked 1918 grave.
