Thanks a lot mr. Boswell Hans and Anne Hanson had two sisters who stayed behind in Leka, Norway. Their descendants are of course very interested in finding relatives in the USA. I still haven’t been able to find any. Hans Hanson lives in (or near) Forest City in 1911, because that year his niece, Gudrun Didriksen, comes from Norway to join him. (From her manifest) After 1911, I can’t find any information about Hans Hanson. He is not registered dead in Iowa? I haven’t found any Hans Hanson in the entire USA, registered dead (with a matching birth date). Did he go to Canada? I have maybe found his mother, Elizabeth Hanson, buried in Sac County, 1930. She was born in August, 1842. (Why did she go to Sac County?) The sister, Annie Milde, had 3 children. Did any of them marry, and have children? Isabel keeps her maiden name all life, so I suppose she never married. Harold Milde died in 1918 (according to my information) I know he was drafted, but did he take part in any war action? Was he killed during the war? I suppose he didn’t marry either. Then the only one left is Martin Milde, who died in Garner, May 1986. What about him? Did he take part in WW1? Did he marry and have children? Is it possible to find an obituary on him? That could provide a lot of very valuable information! I have been searching for Gudrun Didriksen as well. She married Niels Peter Petersen, from Denmark, in 1914. They lived in Crystal Lake. The same year they have a daughter, Margaret Pauline (9/30-1914) In 1919, they go to West Lafayette, Indiana. Gudrun dies in Dane County, Wisconsin. I have found the daughter, Margaret, in Illinois, 1930, then I lose track of her as well. So still, no descendants!
