I am searching for information to confirm or deny the information that I have been able to gather regarding my GORHAM family.
I have researched family documents and other sources online to find that John Gorham m. Mary Jane Lyon. They are my GGG Great grandparents.
Here is what I have so far:
JOHN GORHAM was born 18 Nov 1819 in Clinton County, Ohio, and died 03 Jan 1904 in Mount Union, Henry County, Iowa. He married MARY JANE LYON 30 Sep 1849 in McDonough, Illinois. She was born 22 Apr 1833 in Adair Co., Kentucky, and died 22 Apr 1907 in Mount Union, Henry County, Iowa.
Children of JOHN GORHAM and MARY LYON are:
i. SAMUEL P. GORHAM, b. Feb 1851, Mcdonough, Illinois.
ii. WILLIAM J. GORHAM, b. Jul 1855, Mcdonough, Illinois.
iii. FRANK LESLIE GORHAM, b. 09 Feb 1863, Mcdonough, Illinois; d. 03 Dec 1938, Henry Co, Iowa; m. JENNIE ELLSWORTH MCKENZIE, 28 Dec 1888, Macomb, Ill.; b. 13 May 1870, Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois4; d. 13 Dec 1918, Mount Union, Henry Co., Iowa.
iv. CHARLES LYON GORHAM, b. 19 Mar 1866, Mcdonough, Illinois.
v. ALTA NELLIE GORHAM, b. 1872, Iowa.
vi. EUGENE I. GORHAM, b. 1874, Iowa.
