Thaks Kevin! This has given me some things to look up indeed! "Agnes..Spinal disease".....very interesting! In the 1990 census they have the names of Harriet and her daughter, Martha, backwards for their information. The 1880 census with the name Nenitt should be Annettie. Harriet's maiden name is Eels....Harriet Elizabeth Augusta Eels....and Cushing Eels, the missionary who went west with the Whitmans, stayed with the family on his travels according to my grandmother....so I believe they must have been related by way of being cousins somehow...maybe even second cousins due to the age difference. Thank you for the good info, your time, and for giving me a little direction! M. Hartley Notify Administrator about this message?
