Hi Catherine,
I'm not related, but dug up a few things which might help you continue with your research.

Altho everyone is buried in Shelby Co IA, they did not live there aft 1905 IA State Census.

Alex/Bessie also had another son, Edgar, who was enumerated as a boarder next door to them 1900.

WWI DRAFT REG

Harold M ADAMS, b. 5-27-1887 Shelby IA;
he had a wife.....no name

1917 Yosemite MT
Edgar Malcolm ADAMS b 1-14-1891 Shelby IA;
not yet married.

1910 Lincoln, Lancaster Co NE, Bessie 48 widow, and Edgar 19...Nina not with them. She would be abt 14 so possibly dec'd, unless she m very young.

1920 Lincoln NE....Harold M and w/Louise...no ch yet.
1930 Oneida, Kearney Co NE...still no ch.
Harold was a teacher.

By all rights Edgar should be in MT 1920, but no luck.

John 12 MT
Anna J 11 MT
