Thomas E. Ross/ Love Hopkins (Wilson?) d. Stratford, Hamilton Iowa

I am looking for information on Thomas E. Ross born about 1769
Died between 1826-1832 in Fountain Co Indiana, and his spouse.

Married sometime between 1816-1818 to Love Hopkins (may also be listed as Love Wilson) born about 1789 in Dorchester Maryland.

She died 1875 in Stratford, Hamilton Iowa.

Their son, Huitt Ross, was issued a certificate of membership to the Sons of the Revolution due to his relationship with George Ross and Stephen Hopkins, signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Now I must try to find that link.

I have a photocopy in a family history book of an article that says of Huitt Ross, "His Grandfathers, George Ross and Stephen Hopkins served in the Revolutionary War".

Many thanks for your assistance.

M. Hartley
