Dawn was the daughter of Conger Sr. , she was listed below the servant , but circled to mean the daughter of the head of the household. From the internet : Wilmette Life, 6 Jan 1938, page 6;
"Dawn Reynolds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conger Reynolds, will be baptized by the Rev. Leland Hobart Danforth of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth. Family guests will be Dawn's maternal grandmother Mrs. Mary Goodenough of Denver"
The 1930 census shows the mother as Daphe G. age 39, b MN, father Eng. Mother Iowa (perhaps the name was Daphne?)
Conger Jr was born in Germany, and Dawn in France, Both Conger Sr, and Jr, are on the passenger list when they can home from Europe on the ship America , arriving in New York on Oct 21 1929.(I did not check for the rest of his family)
On a Family Tree on the net, the elder Conger was listed as Edwin Conger Reynolds b Dexter Iowa 23 Mar 1891, son of John Quincy Adams Reynolds and Emma Peugh. This birthdate matched the date on his 1917/18 Draft Card.
I only find the social security death index, on Conger Jr. as born Aug 2 1920, died Dec 1985 in San Diego Co. California. his ss # is 349-18-0344, in case you want to send for the application, which sometimes gives good information. His last benefits went to Zip Code 92077.
If you Google Conger Reynolds, it will give you lots of information on the senior Reynolds. Thats all I have at present Howard Boswell
