I am looking for descendants/ancestry of Robert Marshall and Emma Hutchins (Hutchings). They lived in Iowa in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They had 7 children, one of whom is my great-grandmother, Clara Marshall Thornton.
Robert was born in England ca 1826/1831
Emma was born in Illinois ca 1855.
I have found one record showing a Robert Marshall marrying an Emma Hutchings? on March 30, 1872 in Iowa, but have no way of knowing if they are who I'm looking for, although the date would fit as my great-grandmother was born in 1874 in Iowa. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
