With the info you posted I've found nothing that would match John for parents. They can't seem to decide when he was born, census dates vary several years. 1900, 10 and 20 they say his mother was b. in VT. not england. Arvilla says she had 3 children 2 living in 1900 and 1 living in 1910, Harry and he's married in 1920 census of ND.

Got any idea what Arvilla's middle name was, she may have used that for her marriage record and she says 1871 as the year.

If you need the ND census I can help there.
