Looking for info on Arvilla Vaughn's parents William and Amanda Vaughn - they are listed in the 1880 Des moines, Pocahontas Ia census Wm born in Ny 1827, Amanda born 1828 NH In 1880 their daughter Arvilla (Vaughn) Thompson and John with sister Maud, 2 children Willie and Alice are in the household. Ia State census 1885 has a William H. Vaughn age 59 Born NY Township 93; Range 31, Sec 8 Page 141 but it doesn't list other members in the household.
Children of William and Amanda are: Ida, Arvilla, Ada, George, Rachel, Charles and Maud.
