I think you're on the right track Bonnie, & Jerry & myself appear to be finding the same records, but I still suggest you send for Clement's ss-5. You need his mother's maiden name anyway. Anything you find on sites like family search should only be used as tools in your quest. They too, are subject to error.It's your tree you're working on, you want it to be correct. According to the IGI, my parents only had one child, a son. This was kinda' hard to explain to my sister and other brothers that we didn't exist. Dick
