Kari...According to the 1880 IA..Grundy Co..German Twp, Nicholas and Maria Plattner had 8 children.
Plattner, Nicholas 48 Switzerland
Maria 38 Wutenberg, Ger
all children b Iowa
Jacob 16
Andrew 14
Johannes 12
George 10
Anna 7
Samuel 4
Frederick N 3
Maria 1
According to the 1900 Colorado..Jefferson Co..Arvada Twp Census, Nicholas came to this country in 1858 and Maria came in 1861. Nicholas was Naturalized..no note of Maria being Naturalized.
I could find no info on Nora Bankhart. Other than census showing her being b Illinois.
