The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, November 12, 1908

MRS. C.D. RISSLER died at the home of her daughter, MRS. A.L. LEONARD,
Thursday, Nov. 5th, after an extended illness with a complication of diseases which followed an acute attack of LaGrippe. She was 75 years age, and is survived by two sons and two daughters, JAS. RISSLER of Washington, D. C., ROBERT RISSLER, of Burlington, MRS. COTTAN of St. Louis, and MRS. A. L. LEONARD of Chariton, all being present at this time.

Funeral services were held at the home on Friday morning, and the remains taken to Osceola, her former home, for interment.

*A. L. Leonard, I believe is Austin L. Leonard, and his wife was Ida Leonard. Could not locate her mother in the 1900 census records
