Does anyone here know how I can go about locating the Iowa marriage record for Allen E. Betsworth (Feb 1862-IL), son of Benjamin and Elvira Betsworth?
I found a posting stating that he had married one Irene Wood (born May 1867-IN), in Plymouth Iowa on September 27, 1890 (although the census of 1900 says they married in 1889).
This couple migrated to Dewey Oklahoma by 1900, and they are found there in 1920 as well.
I believe that Irene was the sister of my grandfather, Everett Wood (1878-NE). Hoping this marriage affidavit can provide answers to their parentage.
