The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, July 11, 1907 CLINT MILLTHORP is the manager of the moving picture gallery, which is located in the room on the west side, formerly occupied by the Patriot. You can visit "Nickledom" for the small price of 5 cents any evening in the week with often change of program. This furnishes an entertainment for a nickle equal to many you are compelled to pay three or four times that amount for. This has been launched as a permanent feature for Chariton and the Leader desires to see the enterprise a success, as entertainment is essential and Chariton has been short in past in that respect. These pictures portray the best of humor and there is nothing of the hum-drum on exhibition. They arouse the energies, furnish instruction to a degree, and there is no restraint -- if you get full of humor you are welcome to give vent to your feelings. Surely a good laugh is worth the price, 5 cents. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert December 23, 2004 iggy29@rnetinc.net http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
