The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa

The remains of JAMES MCFARLAND were brought to this city, Friday morning, from Emporia, Ill., and interred in the Chariton Cemetery. He was the father of MRS. DICK DOUGLASS, near town. He leaves an aged wife, who will make her home with her daughter here.
