William Wesley Freel (1844-1926) was the son of James Freel and Mary Gwinn. He married Mary L. Sherman, 1867 in Warren Co., Iowa. Mary died in 1878.

I also have a W. W. Freel (birth/death dates unknown to me) who married Viana Porter (aka Parmelia Viena Porter)on 23 Apr 1887 in Marion Co., Iowa. Viana had been previously married to a William Henry McBride and had at least 2 children by him (Nellie and Cora).

Is it possible that William Wesley Freel and W. W. Freel are the same person? Both men were born in Indiana.
