Hi Sharon

There was a Charles Pugh, born 1869, from William H Pugh
and Eliza Pugh. There was a Charles William, born 1875 to William Wright and his first wife Mary. I am saying that Charles William, born from the Wright family was with Eliza Wright in 1900, Madison Co., Iowa., not Charles Pugh.
Myrtle Wright, in 1881, was born to the Wright family of William and Mary. You were right in Walter was the only one born in to Eliza and William, so I think Walter was a Wright. This is complicated! Also a reason maybe that they were in Winterset Madison Co, was that is where William enlisted in the 4 Cav regiment in the Civil War.
