I just found out My ggg grandpa George Penrod of Pike, Missouri got mixed up with the wrong parents. I had his parents as Joseph H. & Maria Mary (Miller) Penrod. Joseph's & Maria's family stayed in Allegheny, Pennsylvania area.
George is in 1880 living in Pike, Mo. It says he was born in Iowa. So, His parents was Reason & Sarah (Emmett) Penrod. He was married to Mary Francis Epperson. I just found out they got 2 more kids. I only had a son & a daughter to them. Steve E. & Permelia Ann. They was in
1900 living in Fort Madison, Lee, Iowa with 2 more kids. The other kids 2 is John 1885 & Jessie 1888
I found another George A. that was born around the time my George was born. This George has 7 children counting 2 sets of twins. His Spouse was Ellen J. I guess he died between 1886-1900.
