Am still seeking info on my "dead end" Andrew J. Noble born approx 1837 in Ohio and died 1906 in Ft. Madison, Lee Co., Iowa. His parents, according to Census records, were born in Pennsylvania. He arrives in Burlington, Iowa and marries Jane Gibbons on Dec 9, 1858. Their first son was born in 1858 and named George (must have died as an infant as he disappears by the next Census). The second son is Irvin E. (he dies as a teenager)in Lovilla, Iowa; Leander, Walter, and Clarence (my ancestor) are their other sons. Their daughters are named Florence Etta (born in Kansas in 1880 and married Mr. Painton and died in Kankakee, IL), Almina Ella, and Alice Mae (married George P. Gross and died in Augusta, Iowa). They lived mostly in the Ft. Madison, Iowa area and according to Census records there was an Ann Noble with daughter Mary there at the same time, but I can't link them. Would appreciate communicating with anyone with links to this family that may offer some clues. Thank you.
