Seeking info on relatives Reinhart Fixmer and Katherine Blaise Fixmer of German Twp, and Signorney, Keokuk County. Is the township of German Twp still around? Any way to get marriage records in 1800s and subsequent birth records? When German immigrants located in Iowa, would that have been their first spot? At what port would they have arrived? Thank you.
