Hi Dianne,
Wondering if you are still researching, among others, the ELLIS and RUGGLES lines. My grandfather was THOMAS ROSCOE LOVE b 1891 in Keokuk County, son of PERRY and SARAH BELL LOVE. He had a cousin, CICERO RUGGLES b 1878 to ANGELINE LOVE b 1858. I don't know his fathers name. I found Cicero on the 1880 Iowa census living with my GG grandparents, PERRY AND LYDIA LOVE.
Regarding ELLIS, I have some legal papers which name JACK ELLIS and THOMAS ELLIS (listed as incompetent) as defendants in a civil case for property distribution. I have determined that either Jack or Thomas was the husband of Effie Love Ellis b 1865, (Thomas Love's sister) and the other probably their son. The papers were filed in the 1940's. I hope this is helpful and would love to hear from you if so.
