The English River Church, South English, Iowa

In the year 1854, a small group of Brethren pioneers moved from Allen Co. Ohio in search of a location in Iowa.
Sept. 22, 1855 the first Love Feast was held at the home of Brother Soloman Wine and wife:Daniel Wine and wife: Peter Wolfe and wife: Samuel Flory and wife: William Harvey and wife: Sally Flory and a few others by the name of Wolfe.
