I am looking for information on the family of John Cope and Margaret Bull. John Cope was born in England in about 1820 and Margaret Bull was born in New York. Her parents were Jerome Bull and Margaret Roe. They settled first in Columbus, Ohio and then spent many years in Keokuk, Iowa. They had 6 daughters, Maggie who married John Robert Cope, Lucy Christmas who married Gerard Lawrence Huiskamp, Mary Elizabeth who married David F. Richards, Ellen, who died young, Kearney who married Henson Cross, and Abbie Roe who married George Thompson. In about 1890 the sisters and their families moved out to Los Angeles, where they all lived within a few blocks of each other. They also had property on Catalina Island. I have many old photos of this family but I am looking more information, especially on John Cope and Margaret Bull, and hoping to make contact with cousins.
