McKinnons of Johnson County IA

I am seeking information on the McKinnon family of Johnson IA. They are listed in the 1860 IA Census for Johnson County: William McKinnon, born in MD, his wife Elinor, their children: John Henry, Charles Edward, Mary E., Anna, and Daniel. Daniel died shortly. William and Elinor died in 1861 and are buried in Johnson County, IA. The four children were assigned to John McConnell as their guardian. When the boys came of age, they became wards of their uncle, John M. Robinson of Ohio. He was the brother of their mother. The girls remained under the care of the McConnell Family (J. and Edith). In the 1870 census, Anna is listed with the McConnells and in the 1880 census, Mary is listed with the McConnells. Anna died and is buried in Johnson County before the 1880 census. Did Mary McKinnon marry?

Elinor Robinson McKinnon was my second greatgrandmother's sister.

Thanks,

Karen Harris
