I have a copy of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society book listing the burials in Old Fairfield Cemetery, which is/was in the town of Fairfield. This book lists burials from 1839-1990 and there are no burials of people with the surname Marlow shown. There is one Marlow listed in this book who apparently died in Fairfield and his name (partially) was obtained from the "doctors list" which was a listing of people who died under a doctors care.
This listing is very terse, p. 49:
"MARLOW _ MALE _ _ _ b. 1835 - d. 1852 AUG 17 _ _ doctor list _ _ no stone"
Not much help, but at least you know where they are not.
