Have you found any more information since your post on Nathan P. Gregg. I am researching (just started) the Nathan P. Gregg Post #127, Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), from Hillyard, Washington and was wondering how/what importance Nathan P Gregg had in the Civil War that would bring that distinctive honor to him.
