I am trying to connect with descendent of John Hancock and Martha Hayes Hancock who moved to Iowa aroung 1880 and might still be living in the area. Martha Hayes born Pinxton Derbyshire England in 1835 married John Hancock in England about 1852. They moved to PA where they had 6 children before John Hancock died in about 1871. The Hancock children were Oliver, Randolph, Arthur, Joseph, John, and Daisy or Alice. After John Hancock died Martha moved to Iowa with chidren where she married a James Moles. Martha appears as the wife of James Moles in the 1880 US census in Troy, Monroe County, Iowa with last name Moles and with children Arthur Hancock age 17, Joseph Hancock age 15, and John Hancock, age 13 all born in Pennsylvania along with other Moles children. Randolph Hancock appear in Jasper County Iowa in 1900. I believe Martha died in Iowa before 1900. I would appreciate any information on Martha Hayes Hancock Moles and any of her children.
