I am looking for information on the following families:
Gustav Klingbeil came to Ida Grove in 1907 with wife Wilhelmine nee Volkmann and daughter Anna Elizabeth. They apparently retired off their farm there and were members of the Household of God according to Wilhelmine's obituary. Gustav died in 1927 and Wilhelmine died in 1947. I am particularly interested in Gustav's background and Anna's birthdate. Anna Elizabeth married my ggrandfather Carl Overdiek who immigrated from Fehmarn, Germany in the early 1900's and worked on the Klingbeil farm. They had three children: Leonard August (my grandfather), Forrest, and Caroline. I have very little information on Forrest or Caroline or even if they are still living. Caroline married a Scherner, I believe. Any help is appreciated. Gustav, Wilhelmine, Anna and Carl should all be buried in the Ida Grove Cemetery. Thanks.
