I have no relationship to this family, so no need to share your info with me :)

I'm guessing that this is information you already have, it is the 1880 census. The date of the census is 8 Jun 1880:

Name:        John H. Eyres
Home in 1880:        Salem, Henry, Iowa
Age:        55
Estimated birth year:        abt 1825
Birthplace:        Ohio
Relation to head-of-household:        Self (Head)
Spouse's name:        Margaret
Father's birthplace:        Pennsylvania
Mother's birthplace:        Pennsylvania

Occupation:        Carpenter
Marital Status:        Married
Race:        White
Gender:        Male

Household Members:
Name        Age
John H. Eyres        55
Margaret Eyres        39
William M. Eyres        18
Robert M. Eyres        15
Harry H. Eyres        12
Walter Eyres        9

The 1870 census has John at 42 (born in OH), Margaret at 30 (born in NY), William at 8, Robert at 6, and Harry at 4. It was taken 25 August, 1870, in Salem.

That is about all I could find on ancestry.com. Hope it helps.
