Looking for the ancestors of Stephen Clark died Feb 27, 1938 in Mt Pleasant, Henry Co, IA.
The 1900 Cedar Twp, Washington Co, IA lists Stephen (38) b. Illinois, parents born in Ohio; Molly (30) b. Missouri, parents born in Ohio; Gaylord (9) birthplace marked out; Lona (7) b. marked out; Faun & Fern (4) born in Iowa.
One source claims Reuben & Hannah Clark in Bethel, McDonough Co., IL. In the 1880 census there were 8 children, William (25), Harry A. (23), Mary A. (22), Stephen A. (19), Amy (17), Louise (14), Burt (12), Amanda (9) all born in IL with Reuben (48) born in OH, parents born in VA; & Hannah (50) born in OH, parents born in VA
