This is obituary is from the Daily Reporter-Herald, Loveland, Colorado 11/2001

T. Darrell Henesse of Loveland, Widower of G. Maxine Henessee. Graveside services 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, Loveland Burial Park. Family has requested no viewing. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to the House of Neighborly Service in the care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.

T. Darrell Henessee, 85, of Loveland, doed, Nov. 3, 2001, at his home.

He was born Jan. 7, 1916, in Henry County, Iowa to Michael P. and Fairy Estella Dillavou Henessee. He married G. Maxine Cornick on Nov. 23, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2000.

He was a farmer and jack-of-all-trades. He Henessees came to Colorado in October 1950 from Mount Pleasant. They moved to Steamboat Springs in May 1954 and to Loveland in 1962.

Mr. Henessee is survived by three sons, Dallas Henessee and wife Ruth of Wichita, Kan., Thomas J. Henessee and wife Catherine of Loveland, and Marc Henessee of Grand Junction. A daughter, Mary Alice Chaffin of Loveland; a brother, Pearl Henessee of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Henessee.
The family has requested no viewing.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Loveland Burial Park.
In Lieu of flowers, family request contributions to be made to the House of Neighborly Service in care of the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
