I need some new friends in Hartin county. I discoveried a Simpson family plot in Union Cemetery in Hardin Township, Hardin County, IA. In Section 5,Row 8,B2,L15,s1,s2,s3 and again in Row 9,B2,L15,s4,s6.
I don't understand everything I see. I don't know why several listings have John Simpson at the end of the line with names and dates of the deceased.
I found another John Simpson note with another family line in Row 18 of Section 13. A "R.C.Simpson" is listed with them.
I also found "John Simpson" next to a (Mrs. Simpson) on a Israel Klopp grave. What is this contection. I found Israel Klopp, in a history story about the first village plat. It talked about his moving from PA to OH to IL then to Black Hawk County, Iowa in 1863.
Can anyone shed some light on this???
I think need obits from Hardin County, Iowa.
Thanks, ed
