I am seeking William Fred Kothenbeutel, b. 1865 Province of Brandenburg, Prussia, d. 1953 MN m. unknown Sophia Buchanow, b. 1867, d. 1914, Kanawha, IA. Children: Fred, b. 1890; Wm. b. 1891; George, b. 1894; Martha, b. 1895; Sophia, b. 1897; Ernest, b. 1900; Lizzie, b. 1902; Roy, b. 1904; Arthur, b. 1906; and John 1908. On 23 Dec 1882, they immigrated to Ackley, IA and moved to Kanawha, Iowa in 1907. William Fred moved to MN in 1915. Sons George and John eventually lived in MN and died at Rochester, MN. The oldest daughter of Wm and Sophia was Martha Kothenbeutel, b. 31 Oct 1895, d. 16 Apr 1969, m. 3 Dec 1913 Manvil Hegg, b. 1889, d. 1959. Children: Gladys, b. 1918; Merle, b. 1921; Milford, b. 1927, d. unknown.
