I may have some new information for you. I've a connection to these Spanglers through my Reid family line. Alfred I. Reid married Vinona Spangler on Dec 25, 1890 in Fremont Co., Ia. Their marriage record listed Rueben S. Spangler as her father and "Snook / Shook" as her mother's maiden name. Alfred I. Reid's family moved out to Hemingsford, Box Butte Co., Neb in about 1918.

Loren Coy left Monday for Hemingsford, Nebr., where he and Miss Lodema Reid were married Wednesday. Both of these young people have spent most of their lives in Farragut. Mr. Coy is the son of Mrs. Della Coy and is employed at the Turnbull Bros. garage. His bride is a graduate of the Farragut high school and of the normal school at Cedar Falls. She has been a successful teacher for a few years. She taught in the Farragut schools year before last and last year at Adair. She moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Reid to Hemingsford about a year ago. They expect to return to Farragut the last of the week and will make their home with the groom's mother.

Loren Coy left Monday morning for Hemingsford, Neb., where he and Miss Lodema Reid were united in marriage Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Reid. Only the immediate family of the bride and her grandmother, Mrs. Mollie Spangler, who went from here to Hemingsford, Monday, were present. The bride and groom expect to come to Farragut the last of this week where they will make their home with the groom's mother, Mrs. Della Coy. Both are well known in the community, having spent most of their lives here. Mr. Coy is employed at the Turnbull Bros. garage. His bride is a graduate of the Farragut high school, class of 1913, and is a graduate of the State Normal College at Cedar Falls. She has been a successful teacher for a few years, having taught in the Farragut schools the year 1917-1918 and in Adair the last year.
