Iowa was a territory in 1840 and there weren't too many counties formed yet. I don't find a town named Green in Fremont County. There were only 3 men with the name Babcock in the 1840 census of Iowa Territory: Peleg Babcock, TJ Babcock, and Wait Babcock.

Did Fannie Elnora's family remain in Iowa? Was she married there? There is a family in the 1850 census of Van Buren Co., Iowa, with a daughter Sarah and one named Electa (with several other children). Census takers were notoriously bad at spelling, so could this be your Elnora?

I don't find anything else. If you want to give more info, I'd be happy to look again.
