Help!! Wallace Johnson

I can't Find Wallace C. Johnson's family. I found him with his wife Ara B.(Cowger) and their 1st born, Merle in the 1905 Iowa state census. They were in Fremont County, Iowa at that time in the locality of Madison. Evidently they used the post office located in Riverton. Unfortunately, they did not give a birth date or any other info.

I know they had three children, Merle(1904), Clyde (1907) and Eugene (1909). After Wallace died, Ara (Arabelle)B. remarried to William Wrage b. abt. 1887 and finally to George Kish b. abt.1887.

Ara shows up on the 1910 Fed Census residing with her mother Mary Elizabeth (Huffer)Cowger in Riverton, Fremont, Iowa.
It appears Wallace died in November of 1909 and if I am correct, he was a cival war veteran and buried in Riverton.

I did find a cival war pension application with his and Ara' name on it. Seem's he would have been a lot older than Ara, but I haven't been able to locate a marriage or birth record to tie him to a specific family.
I appreciate any help I can get on the Johnson family.
