My great-great grandfather WILLIAM CUMMINGS (born 1816) came to Randolph, Fremont County, IA, about 1870 at the age of 53 or 54. I will check the names of his siblings and other relatives to see if there is an Origin who came to IA earlier. My Trues came to IA from Oregon, Dane County, WI, so the name Origin True might be a variation of that place name. Perhaps Origin came to Iowa prior to William coming.
