Lynching of William Jackson

I am trying to find out more about the lynching near Sydney, Iowa, on January 15? 18?, 1869, where a William Jackson and James Orton were taken from the jail and hanged by a mob for the murder of Milt Holloway. Interested in more details about what, how, and why. I am interested especially in more information about this William Jackson. Don't know if he is the one I am looking for or not. Kind of hope not! Any help is appreciated.
