Andress Pioneer Cemetery, along the south side of the Volga River, 3/4mi east of Main St. Wadena, near the middle of the eastern side of sec 27, T92N, R7W, Illyria Twp, Fayette Co, Iowa. There are numerous unmarked graves. Surnames: Andress, Clapper, Hall, Warner, Lockard, Voshell. Anyone that can add burials please send an email. The pics in this visit are left in the order taken. In July 2007, the cemetery was walked to from Wadena, pans were taken from various sides of the cemetery, the pics were taken of each plot/grave area at both the east and west end of the cemetery as if one were walking back and forth, down each row looing at plots and markers. The cemetery was revisited in Aug 2007, to search for markers that had been thrown or washed into the Volga River; none were found.
