Archibald Trimble was born ca. 1832 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania and probably moved to Iowa ca. 1856. He had a daughter Lizzie (Elizabeth) born abt. 1868 in Misouri. His wife probably died before 1870. Archibald lived in the 6th Ward, Burlington 1870. His sister Elizabeth Trimble was living with him "keeping house." Archibald was still living with his daughter in December 1909. She had five children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Archibald had a brother George W. Trimble who lived in Mt. Pleasant, Henry County, Iowa.
