Hello everyone.
I am looking for information on the DEWEIN family of Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. They were German immigrants who seem to have settled there before moving on to Perry County, Missouri, where I lose track of them after the 1930 census.
My third great-grandmother, Anna Dewein HOSCH, is a descendant of one line of this family. Her father's name, I believe, is John DEWEIN. I am looking to find out more about the family's time in Iowa, before their migration down the Mississippi River to Perry County, Missouri.
